A potager by any other name

Our deadline (self imposed) was the end of August. We have not quite made it. Darren has another rock border to bed in around the citrus garden. Julie has to weed proof the walkways, and lay some river pebbles. There are four garden beds, and 16 pots, ranging in size. Our kitchen garden is 10.75 m2, plus pots, which must get it close to 13 m2.

And, I have decided not to continue with the dream of a chook pen in the backyard, and to make do with this little beauty instead.

However, we now have these herbs:
Basil
Mint
Chives
Parsley
Oregano
with Rosemary to come.

And these fruits:
Brown Turkey Fig (2)
Black Genoa Fig
Lemon
Mandarin
Lime
Blueberries (3)
Raspberries (2)
Kumquat
Strawberries (13)

And these vegetables:
Beetroot
Snowpeas
Sweet corn
Radish
Carrots
Tomatoes (3)
Butterbeans
French Beans
Shallots (second crop planted)
Garlic
Cos Lettuce
Iceblock Lettuce
Snap Peas
Celery
Brown Onions
Spinach
Cucumber (Lebanese)
Capsicum (Red)
Zucchini

It all seems to be coming along nicely, just wait until you get some rain, it will all then take off at an alarming rate.I am not sure if caught rainwater from tanks will work the same.
I hope all goes well with the coming baby and you are all settled in ready to enjoy the warmer weather and the lovely yard space.
